LifeChain is an annual series of events that happens on street corners across Canada. A pro-life silent protest where you will see signs like “Abortion Hurts Women”, “Abortion Kills Children,” “Adoption, the Loving Option”, and “Life, We Stand On Guard For Thee”.
It is a peaceful and silent protest. Participants are not allowed to begin conversations with passersby, nor are they allowed to display any aggressive behaviour at any point. No abortion victim photography is permitted.
Marie-Claire Bisonette, a participant, was managing the corner of Keele and Bloor in Toronto handing out signs when she was confronted by a would-be assailant. After a lengthy street battle, the man confronting Marie-Claire attempts to kick the phone out of her hand, but instead kicks her square in the shoulder.
This is Marie-Claire Bisonette, the woman lawfully protesting at LifeChain.
